He has worked with disabled people for more than 30 years and has been a Practitioner, Manager and Director in the field of deafblindness for 16 years.

Bernard de Vries (Netherlands)

Bernard de Vries is project manager at Royal Visio, National Foundation for the Blind and Visually impaired.

He has worked in the rehabilitation for people with acquired blindness, partially sighted and deafblindness. He worked as practitioner for more than 20 years with sensory training, employment and since 15 years as project manager at innovative projects.

Marie-dominique is a Geriatric physician, MD , chief of geriatric department at the University hospital in Poitiers and consultant on Deafblindness in the Cresam center.

Catherine Woodtli (Switzerland)

Catherine is manager for SZB rehabilitation service for people with Acquired Deafblind for the whole of Switzerland. She also works as a rehabilitation teacher working with people with Acquired Deafblindness in the Luzern and Bellinzona regions.

Else Marie Jensen (Denmark)

Else Marie is a professional consultant for people with Acquired Deafblindness. Her main area of expertise is in:

- Providing consultancy to people with deafblindness, there relatives and municipality

- Providing information about aids, education etc

- Providing support and training to wroker in the field of deafblindness

Else-Marie Svingen (Norway)

Else Marie Svingen works as a senior consultant at The Regional Centre for Deafblind, Skaadalen Resource Centre in Oslo, Norway. She works in the field of habilitation and rehabilitation for people with deafblindness. The Regional Centre gives services directly to the users, the family and personal network and the staff in the municiplities. In recent years she has worked on projects concerning research and information on age related needs with severe agerelated vision and hearing problems.

Liz Duncan (UK)

Liz Duncan has worked in the field of Acquired Deafblindness for Sense for over 15 years. Her role is that of Head of Acquired Deafblindness services. Her expertise is in the areas of the impact of deafblindness on older people, social care legislation, support services for older people with deafblindness, acquired deafblindness awareness support issues.
